Memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M. on Friday, April 8, 2022, at the Willie L. Shaw Jr. Memorial Chapel.

Dennis Jenkins, son of the late Esther Lene Jenkins and Joseph Jenkins, was born in Loris, South Carolina on November 4, 1957. He departed this earthly life on April 5, 2022. Dennis was married to Alice Lynn Jenkins who also preceded him in death. He joined Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church in 1969. Dennis loved working with his hands; like painting, carpentry, cutting grass and fixing things. He also loved to collect "little treasures." He would find objects where he worked or walking along the street and bring them to his family members and say, "I know you will like this, or check this out." Dennis leaves to cherish his memory: three siblings of the home, Joe, Sylvia and Doug; a brother, Billy Johnson of Okeechobee, Fla; a sister, Gloria of Wilmington, NC; a niece, Sharon of Wilmington, NC; three nephews, Sherique of Troutman, NC, Douglas of Leland, NC and Darius of Hamlet, NC; one special movie watching, long-time friend, Joe McCoy of Wilmington, NC and other friends and relatives.
