Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at the Willie L. Shaw Jr. Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in the Johns Chapel Cemetery. Visitation is 4:00 P.M. on Friday.
Demarcus Antwan Baldwin "Pop" was born September 22, 1975, to Harriett Williamson (Charles) and Bobby Lee Baldwin in Wilmington, North Carolina. He departed his earthly home on May 21, 2022. Demarcus was reared in the Walnut Hills Community. He attended the public schools of New Hanover County, graduating from Emsley A. Laney High School in the Class of 1994. Demarcus went on to attend Cape Fear Community College and later received his HVAC License. He worked for many companies and decided to start his own business, "Repair All, LLC", which was very successful. He loved his work. "Pa" or "Pop" as he was affectionately called had an infectious smile. He loved making his family and friends laugh, especially his mother. He had a genuine love for his family and friends. Left to cherish his memories are: his mother, Harriett Williamson (Charles) of Leland, NC; father, Bobby Lee Baldwin of Wilmington, NC; aunts, Laurice Long (Clayton) of Winnabow, NC, Phyllis Drye (Alphonso) of Jacksonville, FL, Donna Allen of Castle Hayne, NC, and Linda Baldwin Boney of Wilmington, NC; uncles, Ricky Allen (Emil) and Terry Allen (Jessica) all of Wilmington, NC; special cousins, Carlos Jihaad Tilghman, Terrance Allen, Jermaine Allen, Nakpangi MaClam, Elaina Allen and Sparkle Allen; two little cousins dear to his heart, Aaliyah Moore and Ayannah Moore of Fayetteville, NC; godmother, Elouise Tate of Leland, NC; goddaughter, Ced'Reah Grady of Jacksonville, NC; many other relatives and friends, including his special friends, Demetrius Grady, Kendric Grady, Cedric Grady, Ernest "Kippy" McKoy, and Rodney James.
