Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. on Friday, August 9, 2024, at First Fruit Ministries, 2750 Vance Street.  Burial will follow in Calvary Memorial Cemetery.  Visitation is from 6-8:00 P.M. on Thursday at the funeral home.

Today we celebrate the life of Damar Orel Sanders who was born on August 30, 2006, to Aundrea Moore and Sammie Sanders, Jr. Damar at 17, was a kind, gentle, loving soul who loved to play and tell Jokes.  Damar had a great love for football and basketball.   He loved being surrounded by his family and friends.  Damar was called home on July 31, 2024, to be with his maternal grandmother Latisha Sanders and Janie Mae Daniels.  Leaving to cherish his memories are his siblings, Sammie Sanders, III, and Mahlia Sanders.  His grandparents Morris Moore, Jr. (Patricia), Sammie Sanders, Sr. (Mary).  He also leaves behind plenty of aunts, uncles, cousins and true friends.
