Funeral Service will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at Evergreen AMEZ Church, Delco. Burial will follow in the Fogle Family Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at 5:30 pm at the funeral home.
Deborah Wells Fogle, the daughter of the late Johnny and Ella Mae Wells was born on June 15, 1946. On February 7, 2023, God dispatched his Angels to bring peace and rest to our beloved mother, wife, sister, grandmother, aunt, niece, and cousin. Deborah attended school in Bronx, New York, and graduated from Herman Ridder High School. She was employed by caring for, and serving others, for many years, as a Nurse's Assistant and Caregiver. On September 2, 1978, she married the love of her life, the late Jeffery Fogle, and the enjoyed 37 years as a loving union, blessed by God. Upon relocating to this area, she became a member of the Evergreen African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church of Delco, NC. Deborah loved music, especially old-school and gospel music. She was a dedicated director of the Young Adult Choir. This was something that she truly loved. Along with her parents, Deborah was also preceded in death by three brothers, John Wells, William Wells, Harvey Wells, Elliot Wells, her sister Deitra Wells and daughter Elnora Bress, two sisters-in-law, Evelyn F. Patrick, and Peggy F. Howard. She leaves to cherish her memories: her children, Elmer Walker of Bolivia, NC. Jaymin Murphy, and Shayla Fogle of Fayetteville, NC; son-in-law, Charles Bress of Leland, NC; six grandchildren, Charles Bress, III, Nicole Bress, Jaymin Murphy, Jr., Christin Murphy, Jazelle Fogle, and Josiah Fogle; four great-grandchildren, Nasys, Wanda, Chaniya and Montrell; two sisters, Desiree Wells, and Sherrell Wells; one brother, Mark Wells of Virginia; two brothers-in-law, Willie Fogle (Shirley) of Riegelwood, NC, Harry Fogle (Brenda) of South Orange, NJ; three sisters-in-law, Shirley Bullock (Joseph) of Bronx, NY, Joyce Webb (Clayton), and Linda Fogle of Delco, NC; two aunts-in-law, Geraldine Fields of Delco, NC, and Ella Everett of Newark, NJ; one uncle-in-law, Robert Everett of Leland, NC. Twenty-two nieces, nephews, and a host of loving cousins, and very close friends, too many to name.
