Funeral service will be 12:00 Noon on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at Union Missionary Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in Pine Forest Cemetery.  Visitation is from 5:30-8:00 P.M. on Friday at the funeral home.

Debbie Yvonne Tindall was given the gift of life on November 1, 1951, in Wilmington, North Carolina to the Late Gilbert Roosevelt Tindall and Ada Elizabeth Tindall.  Debbie was the second oldest of five siblings.  She was baptized in Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church at a very young age.  Debbie was educated in the New Hanover County Public School System and graduated from Williston Industrial School, Class of 1969.  One of her greatest accomplishments was receiving her diploma and her class ring July 1, 2023.  Debbie graduated from Miller-Motte Business College in 1972 with an Associate Degree in Accounting. Debbie was a Veteran with the U.S. Army with five years of service to her Country.  Debbie worked for Corning Glass for over 20 years until her health started failing.  Debbie's hobbies included playing softball for the Rams, coached by Coach William Murphy.  She also loved watching sports and listening to her "oldies but goodies" R&B music.  Debbie and her mother would sit together and listen to music every day.  Debbie was preceded in death by her brothers, Lamont "Bogash" Tindall and Alvin Lee "Truck" Tindall.  Debbie leaves to cherish her memories: Her loving and dear mother, Ada Elizabeth Tindall, two sisters:  Wanda Tindall Goodman and Ramona Tindall-Ragin (Timothy); 1 sister-in-law, Iris H. Tindall; 3 nieces: Lisa Lennon, Tennille Davis (Jerry), Jessica Brown; 5 nephews: Byron L. Tindall (Gina), Nakiya "KY-KY" Brown, Alvin L. Tindall, Il (Lindsey), Alex B. Tindall (Valerie) and Keyon C. Goodman.  There are a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins and The Currie, NC Family and Friends.  A special 1st cousin, Sherwin Archie, a dear friend for over 55 years, Joyce Cox.  A special loving and dear friend for over 45 years, Katrina Patterson.
