Funeral service will be 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at St. James AME Church, Castle Hayne, NC.  Visitation is from 5:30 to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Daquoia Monae Sellers (meaning Bless"ed") born February 6, 2002, in New Hanover County, went to meet her Lord and savior March 2, 2002.  She was the daughter of Mark and Debbie Williams Seller, and predeceased by her grandmother, Daisy Bell Williams, and Godmother, Doris Crawford. Daquoia joined St James AME Church of the Rock Hill Community, at an early age.  She graduated from Laney High School, Wilmington, NC, in the Class of 2020.  Daquoia spent her days after graduation as the primary care provider for her nephew, mentoring and teaching him.  She also loved drawing and photography.  She had any sketches/photos capturing the beauty around her.  Daquoia loved the Lord and began her service at the young age of 3, when she joined the Youth Choir, at St James AME Church.  She was a member of the YPD and served as the Secretary for several years.  She was an active member in St James AME Sunday School.  Daquoia was a member of the Church Dance team.  Even though Daquoia was very shy, as she grew, she was always willing to try something new.  Daquoia had a beautiful voice and eventually let us all know when she sang "For Your Glory" in the Youth Choir.  Daquoia leaves to cherish her memory, her parents, Mark and Debbie Williams Sellers; one sister, Melissa Sellers; two brothers, Damarcus Sellers (Arisynn) and Adrian Pollock; one nephew, Za'Vay (Bubba) Sellers.  Her sisters in Christ, Toni Ellerby, Marissa Foy, Kiyra Jones and Susan Holiday.  Godparents, Tanya Green, Rev. Anthony and Atheda Watson, Jacqui Holloway, Deloris Whitted.  She had many aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.
