Dameron Victoria McMillan, affectionately known as Jill, was born to the late James and Irma McMillan and Lee Booth, Sr. on July 21, 1969. On October 25, 2024, while at Novant New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Jill transitioned from her earthly home to her Heavenly resting place. In addition to her parents, Jill was preceded in death by siblings: Lee Booth, Jr., Malcolm E. Gore, Brian McMillan, and Deidra Ballard, and brothers-in-Love Cleveland Bryant and Derrick Ballard.  Jill was reared in the Dark Branch area of Winnabow. She accepted Christ at an earthly age and spent most of her youth in the Kendal Chapel community. When she began her journey with medical issues, she took along her Lord and Savior by rededicating her life to Christ.  Jill attended and graduated from South Brunswick High School with the Class of 1987. Later she attended Cape Fear Community College to obtain her Culinary Arts Degree. Some of her most fond moments derived from time spent working at Cape Fear Memorial Hospital where she wowed patrons with the special flair she added to the menu.  Jill was a people person, a nurturer, and the Life of the party. The many talents she hailed included: hair stylist, gardener, vocalist, comedian, and decorator just to name a few. Each of these talents she used to deliver acts of kindness and love. Her crafted recipes filled your stomach and warmed your heart. As a published writer, Jill used poetry to make passionate, profound, and heartfelt expressions to touch any reader. Of all the many roles she played, Jill cherished most her crowned position as a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.  Jill Leaves to cherish her everlasting memories: her children, her greatest earthly treasures: Mic'hila McMillan, Nat-Ayr Booth, and Makai McMillan; granddaughter Aria Grissett; siblings Anthony McMillan, James McMillan, Lynndez Bryant, Gacien McMillan, Nikki McMillan, Tara Barnhill (Tony), and Mark Harris; a special aunt Joyce McMillan (James), and a host of beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
