Da'Jour Sincere Richardson-Ellison was born on April 25, 2005, to Aquita Ellison and John Richardson.  On January 26, 2026, Da'Jour began his journey home to be with Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Ronald Lee Rowell, and his paternal grandfather, John Franklin Richardson. Da'Jour attended Waterview Learning Academy and continued his education at Cape Fear Community College, where he worked toward a bright and promising future. Da'Jour's presence was unforgettable. His personality shined wherever he went— full of laughter, life, and a joyful spirit that lifted everyone around him. He had a natural gift for making people smile, often with a little playful teasing that showed just how much he cared. His heart was big, kind, and full of love. His memory will remain with us forever, and he will always be remembered lovingly as "DJ".  Da'Jour Sincere Richardson-Ellison was a devoted son, brother, cousin, nephew, and friend. He leaves to cherish his memory:  His mother Aquita Ellison, of Wilmington, North Carolina, father John Allen Richardson, of Charlotte, North Carolina, brother Daijon Harris, two beloved sisters, Issa Spencer and Anissa Spencer; grandmother, Louise Ellison, of Wilmington, North Carolina; grandfather, Melven Fields, of Wilmington, North Carolina; grandmother, Robin Richardson, of Charlotte, North Carolina; aunts, Patrice Ellison, Pashion Ellison, and Alethia Richardson of Brooklyn, New York, Keisha (Rodney) Faulkner of Charlotte, NC; uncle, Melten Fields.  A host of cousins and friends, and his special friend, Nyiesha Miller.  DaJour's life was a blessing.  His laughter, kindness, and love will continue to shine through every life he touched.
