Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at St. Mark Episcopal Church.  Burial will follow in Calvary Memorial Cemetery.  Visitation is from 5:30 - 8:00 P.M. on Monday at the funeral home.

Constance Fulton Jones, daughter of the late George and Dorcas Fulton was born February 13, 1931.  She departed this earthly life on May 22, 2024. Constance was educated in the New Hanover County Public School System and graduated from Williston Industrial School. She attended Wilmington College and later Cape Fear Community College, obtaining her CNA degree.  Constance worked at Davis Nursing Home, New Hanover County Schools and with the New Hanover County Board of Elections as a Poll Worker.  Constance accepted Christ as her personal Savior and joined St. Mark Episcopal Church as a child. Constance was crowned Ms. Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and on that same day she met Hugh J. Jones, III and they were married the very next day.  Hugh and Constance were blessed with eight children and with over 65 years of marriage until his passing on December 30, 2017.  She loved bowling, BINGO, playing cards and pinochle.  She was in a bowling league for many years. In addition to her parents and her husband, Constance was also preceded in death by two daughters, Sheryl Sampson and Victoria Jones. She leaves to cherish fond memories: six children, Hugh Jones, Jr. (Evelyn), Pamela Jones, Terry Jones (Leonia), Grayouski Jones (Linda), Vandester Jenkins (Tommie) and Cammay Williams (Clarence); several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Louise Outler and Gloria Williams; three sisters-in-law, Vandester Brown, Elizabeth Harris and Marva Brown; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
