Clarice Jacobs-Johnson was brought into this world on October 19, 1940, through the union of Luka Jacobs and Mildred Wright-Jacobs.  In this union there were six boys and three girls, and because Clarice was the first girl until she was roughly 12 years old, It brought her great joy when her two sisters were born.  On August 28, 2025, Clarice transitioned peacefully to her final resting place.  Five of her siblings preceded her in death; William Jacobs, Jake Jacobs, John Calvin Jacobs; Carolyn Jacobs and Debbie States.  She was also preceded in death by her parents, and her son Harrison Johnson, Jr.  Clarice attended and graduated from Williston Middle/High School. Soon after graduation she relocated to New York City and before long she fell in love, and married the love of her life, Harrison Johnson, Sr. They began their life together, raising a family of two boys and one girl: Harrison, Jr., Darnell and Arlene.  Clarice began her career as e Paraprofessional in the New York City school system at P.S. 123 Mahalia Jackson school.  Shortly after her arrival, she assisted the administrators in many essential roles.  A few years later, her support was needed at I.S.195 Roberto Clemente school, there she brought her beam of light and her expertise and remained until her retirement in 2009.  Clarice Jacobs-Johnson was a wonderful Loving wife and mother, with a quiet spirit that made you feel  welcome to be around her.  She leaves to celebrate her life and cherish her memory; her loving husband of over sixty years, Harrison Johnson; one son, Darnell Johnson; one daughter, Arlene Johnson; one grandson, Arnell (Danayris) Hodgson; one granddaughter, Charnella Johnson; one great grandson, Niyzaiah Hodgson; one great granddaughter, Arnel-Marie Hodgson; three siblings Lorenzo Jacobs, Nathanel Jacobs, & Luke (Shirley) Jacobs; five sisters-in-law, Grace Johnson, Mary Ella Johnson, Margaret Johnsun, Charlotte Johnson, & Patricia Johnson; one brother in-law, Edgar Johnson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and friends,
