Carl
Yeoman
July 6, 1953 – May 15, 2023
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at Providence Missionary Baptist Church. Burial in the St. Thomas Cemetery. Visitation is at 6:00 P.M. on Friday at the funeral home. Well-nigh the hour of 11:15 P.M, on Sunday, May 14, 2023, at Peak Resources in Wilmington North Carolina. Mr. Carl Bernard Yeoman heard the gentle whispers of the Lord and peacefully answered the call to receive his Heavenly crown of Glory. Carl Bernard Yeoman was born on July 6, 1953, to the late Perry Otis Yeoman Sr., and Adell Williams-Yeoman. He was proceeded in death by his brothers Perry Jr., Roger Yeoman and sisters Ann and Cynthia Yeoman. Carl graduated from Leland Middle School in 1971. After graduating Carl worked many years for Coca-Cola before transitioning to Daniels Construction, at Dupont where he would retire after working over twenty-four (24) wonderful years. Carl, like most of the Yeoman gang was a jokester, there was always a laughable moment and a wonderful time to have. He was a great athlete in basketball and baseball and during his school years and throughout his life, he could be found playing both sports. Carl also enjoyed a good game of Spades, BizWiz, and shooting Pool. He dabbled in cooking, finding joy preparing his best dish, 'Pig Feet!" There was one thing he did not joke about, renege nor scratch the table on, that being his soul salvation! Later in life under the leadership of Reverend Joseph Clark, Carl joined Providence Missionary Baptist Church and never looked back. He found great care and teachings under his current Pastor, Reverend Frederick McLean, and First Lady Reverend Sherry McLean's leadership. Never giving up, Carl continually grew in the admonition of the Lord. His life was evident of his love for God, the church and family. He sang on the Providence Men's Choir, enjoyed worship, fellowship and talking about the goodness of God. His faith and love of God is what kept him motivated. Carl was a free-hearted, people person, caring for and helping all those he could. So much so he would "Give the shirt off of his back!" He loved traveling to VA on his Summer trips or rather "Mini Vacations," to spend time with the grands Sayaun and Kadorian, his daughter-in-law Kesha and son Carlos. He loved them all, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, family, and friends. Carl leaves to cherish his memories: One son Carlos Monroe (Kesha) Woodbridge, VA; Fiancé Carrie Monroe, Wilmington, NC; two stepdaughters, Antionette (Shenita) Stuckes & LaTonya Coggins Wilmington, NC; four brothers, Elton Williams, Wilmington, NC; William E.
