A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at Freedom's Way Ministries; 1952 Dawson Street.

Calvin Earl Daniels, son of the late Erma Lee Daniels and Alec Wallace was born on December 25, 1960 in Greenville, North Carolina.  He departed this earthly life on August 26, 2024. Calvin was educated in the Pitt County School System, attending J.H. Rose High School.  Calvin was employed with Walex Products Company, Inc. in Leland, North Carolina. Calvin was a people person and loved playing music, traveling, grilling and just cooking out.  He loved his family and will be deeply missed by all. In addition to his parents, Calvin was also preceded in death by his sisters, Jean Jones, Janet Harris, Barbara Filmore, Gloria Mayo Teel, and Linda White and his brother, Jerry Cannon. He leaves to cherish very fond memories:  his loving wife, Dorothy Garner; stepson, Martinez S. Manley; one sister, Andrea D. Leggett; sisters-in-law, Annie Bryant and Glenda Bryant; brothers-in-law, Alvin Harris, James Earl Filmore, and Pastor Daniel Bryant; one aunt, Verna Mae Simms; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
