Betty H. Hunter, the daughter of Geneva McNeil and Alexander Earl McNeil, son James Phillip Herring, Jr., and daughter Janette Herring preceded her in death.  She was born and raised in Wilmington, North Carolina, her journey consisted of receiving her education in the New Hanover County School district, following numerous certifications. Professional attributes with several nursing facilities around the city.  Her love for fashionable items and designer wear brought great joy and happiness to the family.  Betty had a thing for jewelry.  She would have a television station fixated on the network channel QVC.  Betty was always dressed and ready to make a fashionable appearance every Sunday morning where she would attend Faith Temple Church.  Forever cherishing all of her memories:  two sons, Antonio Herring, Ondray Herring (Kea) and daughter Veronica Herring; Grandchildren, Antonio Shufford, La'Trice Herring, Anthony Brown, Jr., Andria Herring, Sebastian Robinson, Brianna Brown and Ta'Killa Johnson.  Great grandchildren; Ny'asia Lewis, Mirrikle White, Cedrion Jones, Tresean Herring, Jewel Flowers, Zyaire Copeland, Cameron Holliday, Nylaa Robinson, E'lana Burns, Emerie  Fishburn, Kayla Shufford, Rhonjoir Shufford and Yonis Genwright.  As a loving, caring and kind mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend, Mrs. Bet's door and heart was open to her loved ones in need of a little loving and tender care.
