Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Pollock Cemetery. Visitation is from 5:30-8:00 P.M. on Thursday at the funeral home.
Antwane Jamel Johnson (known as Tank and Stank Stank), the son of Oriental Lashell Johnson, was born July 12,1983, in Wilmington, North Carolina. His life came to a peaceful end on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. He was preceded in death by his father, Lindell Jones, his uncle Rodriquez Johnson (Chokey), two grandmother(s) Lucille Johnson and Mary Jones and Grandfather Earl Johnson. He was a loving and devoted brother who loved to cook. He got his nickname "Tank" from playing Pop Warner football for the late William Murphy. He was a grandma's boy he loved his "Mu" and he loved the kids! He was kindhearted and he would do anything for you even giving you the shirt off his back. He was a solid, the realist, and the largest absolutely irreplaceable person. The life of the party in any room he was in. Those who are left to share his memories: His loving mother, Oriental LaSheII Johnson, Wilmington, NC, his siblings, Aaron McClean, Aaliyah McClean, Mary Murphy, Shanelle Bullock (Damian), Donte McGuire (Terri), Keon McGuire (Meskerem Glegziabher), Diamond Jones, Rakim Lee, and Marcelius Jones (Maria). A special loving daughter Priya Farrior. Uncles Michael Johnson, Frederick Jones (Michelle), Daron Jones (Sandra), Warrick Jones (Ginger), Jermaine Lock and Vince Lock, Grandparents AJ Oates (Ethel), Liz Johnson and Floyd Palmer (Wanda). Three great Uncles, Irvin Green, Harold Green and Top Keaton. Great Aunt, Cora Morgan. Godmother, Helen Clark. Three special little women: Autumn Murphy (his Stank Stank), I'yanna Wilson (his princess) and Dream Hobbs (his Goddaughter). Like a father figure, Sylvester McClean. Three special aunts Monique Simon, Kim Tisdale and Shenett Waddell. One Special Uncle Ricardo McClean. Best friend/brother Tony Hurd. Four special cousins/sisters Brei'Anna Wilson, Latrice Murphy, Camel Farmer and Christie Fuller. Special nephews Kevin Gause and Desmond Fuller. One special niece Makayla Fuller. Special friends Shamar Spicer, Keisha Beverly, Dewayne Burch, Raheen Parker, Thomas Holmes, Tyaan Joye, and Dynetta White. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, and last but not least, his devoted four-legged daughter Eve.
