Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. on Saturday at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in Calvary Memorial Cemetery.  Visitation is from 5:30 to 8:00 P.M. on Friday at the funeral home.  Anthony Jerrod Parker, also known as "AJ" entered into eternal rest on September 28, 2023.  "AJ" as he was affectionately called by family and friends was born in Wilmington, NC, on August 11, 1990, to Deidra Parker, and the late Kenneth Maurice Murphy.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents John & Deloris Parker, and Marion & Vernetta Murphy.  Siblings, Deona and Charles Ross.  "AJ" received his education through the Clayton County School system in Jonesboro, GA.   He was employed with Vinedresser Lawn and Landscape Maintenance.  "AJ" loved his family, and we loved him dearly.  He was an AWESOME DAD that loved his daughter and enjoyed spending quality time with her.  "AJ" always wanted his daughter to know she was loved.  If you were in his presence for whatever reason, he always showed love. "AJ" loved to play cards and more cards.  Anthony leaves to cherish his memories, his daughter, Avery Parker; his mother, Deidra Parker; sisters, Cordelia Ross, and Shania Hobley; brothers, Corey Jackson (Porscha), and Kearris Keyes.  A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  Three special friends, Martez Bracey (Hustle), Maurice Bellamy (Gotti), and Ronald Brunson (Wiz).
