Funeral service will be 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at Union Missionary Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in Calvary Memorial cemetery.  Visitation is from 6-8:00 P.M. on Tuesday at the funeral home.  Mrs. Annie Mae Junious-Yates entered eternal rest at home on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. She was born in Wilmington, NC on September 15, 2024, to the late George and Beatrice Junious. She was educated in New Hanover County public schools and joined Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. She was a fun and loving lady who always made you laugh and will always be known for her love for her family.  Annie was preceded in death by her daughter Alberta Junious, grandson Warren Junious, brothers Anthony and Eric Junious, and sister, Lilly Mae Hannah.  She leaves to cherish her memories two sons, David Junious  and Michael Yates, three daughters, Carolyn Junious, Yolanda Gause, Treil Edwards (Benjamin), William Mallet, all of Wilmington, NC and Tonya Blocker (Brooklyn, NY), her two brothers George Junious (Greenville, NC), and Samuel Jackson (Raleigh, NC), two sisters, Rose Junious (Philadelphia, PA), and Carolyn Junious (Memphis, TN), sixteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, two special nieces, Shirley Junious-Hugee and Dianne Yates-Hayes, two caring friends, Dorothea Johnson and Delores Sanders, all of Wilmington, NC, and a host of family and friends.
