Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at Shaw Funeral Home.  Visitation is from 5:30-8:00 P.M. on Saturday at the funeral home.  As the early morning presented itself on Monday, March 4, 2024, a dutiful parent, God, called Annie Lee Johnson to enter HIS peaceful kingdom.  We were all blessed by her love and warmth, which she freely shared.  Our beloved was born to the late Samuel Johnson, Sr., and Anna Belle Teachey.  She is preceded in death in death by both parents and her siblings:  Willie Lee Teachey (Bessie Mae), Mattie Wilson, Jean (Mary) Ellen Johnson, William Henry Johnson, Samuel Johnson, Jr., Thurman Leroy Johnson, and Lindell Johnson.  Annie Lee knew no strangers and was a mother to all.  Her love and passion for God were remarkable, as she was the glue that brought us together in so many ways.  She was always full of life and demonstrated her love by sharing her wisdom and hosting gatherings at home, providing warm and tasty meals.  Annie Lee always loved people and welcomed all people all the time.  She was a GREAT PILLAR in the family and the community.  She leaves to cherish her memories:  Anthony Smith, whom she raised as her child, a host of nieces and nephews, special relatives, and friends.
