Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at St. James AME Zion Church, Snowfield Community.  Visitation is from 6-8:00 P.M. on Saturday at the funeral home.

Andre Eugene Goodman was born in Wilmington NC, on May 21, 1962, and departed this life on April 21, 2024.  Andre was known to his family as "Snag" and to the community as "Crawford".  He was a loving brother and Uncle to his family.  He enjoyed entertaining with a good pot of chicken and rice and grilling some good ole' Crawford burgers.  Andre graduated from South Brunswick High School in the Class of 1980 and became a heavy machine operator. He was a member of St. James AME Zion Church and a participant of Class number one.  He was preceded in death by his father and mother, William and Clara Goodman; his sisters, Mary Catherine Hobbs, Patricia Burton, and Loretta McMillian; his brothers, Alfonzo Goodman, Kenny Simpson, and Charles Goodman; his grandson, Jaronn McCallister and his aunt, Shirley Daily.  He leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Erica Goodman; children, Candice Young and Courtney Goodman; stepchildren, Derrick Greene, Nico Greene, and London Simpson; grandchild, Lennox; step grandchildren, Ava Greene, Braeden Greene, Bayla Greene, Aria Greene and Royal Greene; sisters, Shirley Magnum (Anthony), Geraldine Galloway (Ernest), Ronette Davis (Sonny), Chirstine Hobbs, and Sabrina Goodman; brothers, Harvey Lee Hobbs (Linda) William Goodman, Jr., James Goodman, Danny Goodman (Erica), and Timothy Hobbs (Gwen); uncle, Elijah Hobbs; aunts, Laura Mae Young (Richard),  Barbra Ann Jones, and Alice Lee; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
