Adrienne Phillips, daughter of the late John B. Sherman and Yvonne V. Simpson, was born on March 25, 1960, in Manhattan, New York.  She departed this life on March 26, 2025, in Wilmington, North Carolina.  Upon graduation she enlisted in the United States Army as a dental specialist.  She was honorably discharged in 1981. Adrienne was a loving individual who sometimes sacrificed her own needs to help support and encourage everyone else.  Adrienne graduated from South Brunswick High School in South Brunswick, New Jersey in the Class of 1978. In addition to her parents, Adrienne was preceded in death by her brother, Gregory Joseph Lee.  She leaves to cherish fond memories: her son, Joshua Phillips; grandchildren, Kru Phillips and Asiyah Phillips; brothers, Jason Sherman, John Simpson, Gary Lee, and Leon Lee; sisters, Gloria Lee Cosme, and Judith Lee King; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
